:arge 5 bedroomed house fully refurbished and modernized. Our home is a stunning 5 bedroomed house which has been extensively renovated and modernized. There is a very large open plan kitchen overlooking a large landscaped garden with swing, slides, zip wire and games room. There are 3 reception rooms, 2 containing a variety of fire places and Smart TVs, Xbox and Wii.We also have high speed WiFi and Apple iMac Master Bedroom has a walk-in dressing room and en suite bathroom, 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are spacious with wardrobes, one with bunk beds, the other with extra pull out bed.4th bedroom on 3rd floor is a spacious room with double bed and the 5th bedroom has an en suite bathroom. the house sleeps 9 comfortably but there is a variety of airbeds there should you need them. Includes the use of bikes. There are plenty of toys for young children to play with and thousands of books, CDs and movies for your perusal! We have bikes, tennis rackets and golf clubs that you can use too. Bikes are great in Clontarf as we have a 8 mile cycle track along the seafront promenade.

We also have a very beautiful holiday home in West Cork, (Tragumna) situated right on the sea front with breath taking uninterrupted views down over Tragumna Bay and it's blue flag beach. This is a very quaint, cosy and well maintained 2 bedroomed cottage that sleeps 5.

It is situated 1 km from the beautiful seafront promenade Clontarf which has extensive uninterrupted views right across Dublin Bay to the Dublin Mountains. This promenade runs down towards Dollymount Beach - Dublin's premier Beach. Situated on this Beach is Royal Dublin Golf Club - Dublin's top golf course (ask Bill Clinton - he played there last year!!) We are members of this club and might be able to organize a visitors pass if interested.

Our house is about 200 meters from the village where nearly all buses can take you into the city centre within ten minutes. The city centre is only 3 miles away. The DART station is a 5 minute walk where you can take a local train to city centre, or anywhere along the coast of Dublin from the beautiful Harbors of Howth to Dunlaoighre. We are a 5 minute walk from St. Annes Park which is the second biggest park in Dublin. This park is a vast space where you can enjoy walking, cycling, a farmers market (on Saturdays), a playground and coffee shop. There is a cycle lane on the Promenade which goes all the way to Howth Harbour or into the city centre. It is also just 10 miles from the airport (about 20 euro in a taxi) If you are coming to Ireland all the way from California, why not take a short trip to London while you are here? The airport is so close and the flight to London is only one hour.

Tragumna is a breathtaking beauty spot in West Cork - the gourmet capital of Ireland. One small road takes you into Tragumna from Skibereen town and continues all along the coast via one of the most breathtaking coastal views in Ireland. It is a 5 mile drive to Lough Ine, Europe's biggest tidal lake and one of the top beauty spots of West Cork. The town of Baltimore, one of Ireland's premier sailing villages, is only a 20 min drive away also. The towns of Skull, Ballydehob and Barleycove beach are all within a 30 minute drive. Also, the world famous tourist towns of Dingle and Killarney are only a drive away. Killarney is about an hour and a half and Dingle is about 2 hours away. Check out the many fantastic beaches all along the coast. The house is situated with 7 other cottages on a large hill rolling down to the beach. Most kids love to slide down this hill on boogie boards - a really safe extreme sport! My kids used to do this for hours on end while we enjoyed an al fresco dinner. There are boogie boards and fishing nets in the house. There is a BBQ and deck chairs for your usage. This cottage is the most perfect place for a BBQ. Watch the sun set behind the hills opposite the bay and you might be lucky to spot the family of dolphins that occasionally grace us with their presence during warmer weather.

We have holidayed in West Cork for 17 years now, but our kids want to see more of the world at this stage! We really want to visit the West Coast of America and would like to use a house swop for a week or so to bring down the cost of Hotel accommodation. We are offering a premium urban residence in one of Dublin's most sought after district plus a holiday home in the beautiful West Cork plus a 7 seater car (only 2 years old). This would be an ideal opportunity for a family who want to have a really great holiday in Ireland this August. In exchange for this, we are looking for a really nice beach front house somewhere in San Diego preferably La Jolla or Solano Beach.

We are doing a 3 week trip along the west coast starting in San Francisco and working down towards San Diego via LA before finishing up in Vegas. we are seeking accommodation from about 10 Aug to 18 Aug along the West Coast. While we only need a house for about a week, both our properties would be available for almost the entire month of August (if traveling to Dublin first and then on to West Cork).

We are particularly interested in Santa Barbara or anywhere along the coast in San Diego like Mission Beach, Solano Beach and La Jolla. A house or apartment that was someone's second home would be ideal.
