Our luxurious Family home is recently new build and centrally located in the mainstreet of Bunschoten and has all the luxury a family can look for.

On the main floor:
you will find a large family kitchen with a boretti stove with frytop and 2 ovens, granite stone kitchen counter, bosch micowave/oven, bosch dish washer, bosch fridge and a kitchen dining area with place for 4 adults and 2 children. Above this dining area you will also find a flatscreen TV.

In the living you will find a marblestone fireplace, large flatscreen TV with Dolby Surround System, DVD player with hard disc recorder , media player and MP3 player. This living room has 4 french doors which gives acces to the large garden area.

The living room gives acces to the library/ play room for the children which has another large flatscreen TV with Dolby Surround System, DVD player with hard disc recorder, WII player with all accessories (like 2 remote controls) and their own computer with WIFI.

On the main floor you will find in total 3 flatscreen TVs (1 in the kitchen, 1 in the living room and 1 in the library/ children room)!

From the library you will enter our dining area which has another 2 french doors which gives acces to the large garden area.

And finally you will find our WELNESS AREA with large Infra red Sauna (for up to 6 persons) with Dolby Surround system, multi color system and multi air system (with many flavours) and a walkin shower area. This WELNESS AREA has another 2 french doors which gives acces to the large garden area.

Garden area:
In the large garden you will find a large veranda area with an outdoor kitchen equipped with a granite stone kitchen counter, Boretti gasbarbecue and large fridge. In the veranda area you will also find a large dining area for up to 6 people and a large outdoor living area.

In the large garden you will find a soccer field, wooden play ground with climbingtower, slide and 2 swings. A large trampoline and a large wooden children play house with a lot of children toys like 2 scooters and baby slide.

In the garage you will find 2 adult bicycles and 2 children bicycles so you can explore our town on your own pair of wheels.

On the First Floor :
You will find 2 children bed rooms with their own bad room, a separate toilet and a laundry area.
The large master bed room has its own walk-in closet and a large master bad room with walk-in shower, toilet, jacuzzi and 2 washing bassins.

On the Second Floor:
You will find an office area with flatscreen computer and WIFI ACCES throughout the entire house and garden area. There is a gym area with several equipment and a large 4th bed room with a separate children play area.

In total you will find a large kitchen area, living area, dining area, library/ children area, 4 bed rooms, 3 toilets and 3 bad rooms including a large WELNESS AREA (for up to 6 people) in our luxurious family home.

Our Family home is centrally located in the main street of Bunschoten and Bunschoten is a Touristic Highlight of The Netherlands.

Bunschoten Spakenburg is famous in The Netherlands because of their Traditional Houses, older people still wear (on daily basis) Traditional Clothing and wooden shoes and we have the only (still working) Botter wharf in the world.
Botters are Traditional boats which were used for fishing in the past but are now used for touristic boattrips on the lake.

There is a Traditional Dutch Windmill (which has a restaurant and terrace ), restaurant and pub on walking distance (400m) from our Family home.
There is a Hop onn/ Hop of Traditional Touristic Tram which passes by all the touristic highlights of our village and the nearest pick up station is only 400 m walking distance from our Family home.

We have 3 large mainports so during the summer period a lot of water activities can be done on the lake.
We have a child friendly beach with a children playground and this is only 1 km from our family home so you can easily cycle the distance or take the Touristic Tram.

During the Summer period (July and August) a lot of activities are organised in our village like the 4 Spakenburgse Days. During these 4 Days (all held on every Wednesday) a Traditional Market, Traditional Clothing Parade, wooden shoes dancing and touristic boattrips on the lake are organised.

Normally thousands of Tourists visit our village during these days and they all enjoy the Touristic Highlights of our village.

Our village has a large shopping area with a lot of restaurants, pubs, terraces, shops and off course large groceries/ supermarkets to do the daily shopping. All of this in only 1 km from our family home so you can cycle it, walk it, take the tram or drive it. There are large parking lots in the centre and everwhere is free parking.

Our village is centrally located in The Netherlands and a perfect place to explore The Netherlands:
Amsterdam is only 30 minutes driving time and the Hague is only 60 minutes away from our Family home.

we are already booked for a home exchange in April 2013 for a period of 2 weeks (Atlanta USA).

But we are still looking for a home exchange in January 2013 and July 2013.

January 2013 our home will be available for a home exchange starting 3th of January till 22th of January (3 weeks).


January 2013 we would love to visit Australia again and we would prefer to visit Western Australia (Perth and surroundings)

July 2013 our home is available for a home exchange starting 17th of July till begin of August (2 or 3 weeks) .

July 2013 we would love to visit the USA again and we would prefer to visit California (Los Ángeles and surroundings) or Hawaï.

For the last 12 years we have visited Australia every year for 3 months (in winterperiod of Europe) and we fell in love with this beautiful country.


For the last 2 years we have visited the USA every year in the summer period an we would love to visit it again this summer 2013.

As our children are going to school now, we can not travel longer than 3 weeks and we hope this will be long enough to make a home exchange.

We love to travel around the world so we are still open to other destinations!

Our family consist of 4 persons: Marcel , Angelien and the children Noah (6 years old) and Mirthe (4 years old).

Marcel has been working for the Government for the last 26 years and still enjoys it!

Angelien has been working in the Airline Industry for the last 21 years and still enjoys to travel around the world!

Our children Noah and Mirthe started to travel around the world from the age of 6 months and are well traveled and well mannered.

We started to travel around the world as a couple 22 years ago and are used to travel 3 months every year.
For the last 12 years we have visited AUSTRALIA on a yearly basis and we fell in love with this country…and people.

The children Noah and Mirthe visited Australia for the first time at the age of 6 months old and grew up on a yearly basis with this beautifull country and people.
Since Noah has reached the age of 5 years we can not travel anymore for 3 months on a row but have to travel in weeks during the school holidays.

For the last 2 years we have visited the USA on a yearly basis (2 times last year) and we feel very relaxed in this beautifull country. We look forward to visit it again in April and hopefully in July aswell.

Our children are well mannered and we take good care of our belongings as we would do with yours. We keep our home clean and tidy on a daily basis and we would do the same with your home!

We are all well traveled around the world and look forward to visit new places and meet new people.
