Se sitúa en la 9ª planta de un edificio de pisos, muy luminoso, orientado a este y oeste
Hay una plaza de aparcamiento disponible en el mismo edificio.

The house
This is my home, a cozy and homey place. It has 2 bedrooms with double bed (queen size beds) a little office where I keep my books and a supplementary bed, 2 bathrooms, dining room and a big kitchen.

I’ve equipped it with almost everything, like air conditioned (hot and cold), washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, cable TV, DVD, home cinema, wireless internet…etc.
It is located in the last floor (9th floor) of an apartment building, which makes it very a very sunny place, orientated east and west.

El barrio en el que vivo, Moncloa, es un barrio universitario, vivo y divertido, lleno de tiendas de moda, cafés y restaurantes; céntrico y muy bien comunicado con el resto de la ciudad y las poblaciones cercanas a Madrid, con estación de metro, autobuses,...
A un paseo andando, por uno de los parques más grandes de la ciudad, el Parque del Oeste, puedes disfrutar de espectaculares vistas del atardecer en el Templo de Debod, o en el Palacio Real y el Teatro de la Opera,... o puedes caminar hacia la Gran Vía, zona de teatros y ocio, y seguir hacia la plaza de Cibeles o el paseo de Recoletos, lleno de terrazas al aire libre, con música, en cuanto llega el buen tiempo...
Cercana está tambien la "milla de los museos", el Prado, Thysenn y Reina Sofía, o barrios tan pintorescos como Latina, Chueca, Las Letras,... con sus fiestas populares, especialmente en verano.

Moncloa, is a lively and fun place, full of shops, coffees and restaurants. It is in the centre of Madrid and very well connected with the rest of the city and nearby towns by public transportation (metro, bus, etc)
Just a walk away, crossing (if wished) one of the biggest and nicest parks in Madrid (Parque del Oeste) you can enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in Madrid, in the Temple of Debod, the Royal Palace or the theater of The Opera. You can also walk towards The Gran Via, a known street for its multiple movie theaters and entertainment places and follow to reach Cibeles’ plaza or Paseo de Recoletos, were you can enjoy the music with a great cup of coffee in one of the many beautiful terraces along this his historical street. Nearby you can find what it’s called the “Museums mile” (Prado Museum, Reina Sofia Museum of Moderm Arte, Thyssen Collection, etc…) or if want to take a break from all that culture, you can reach charming neighborhoods such as Chueca, Huertas, Latina… vibrant with day and night live, specially during the summer.

Me gustaría que el intercambio pudiera ser largo, de un mes o más, para aprovechar el viaje y poder conocer bien tanto las ciudades como sus habitantes y los alrededores.

The ideal situation would be a stay of at least a month, so that I could benefit from it and get to know the interesting places and people from the city and its surroundings.

Me gustaría conocer el norte y centro de Europa, sin prisa, desde el centro de las ciudades, para poder moverme con libertad, pasear y disfrutar del teatro, museos y espacios al aire libre... y poder viajar a otros puntos de interés en esos paises

I would like to visit the north and centre of Europe, without hurry and preferably staying in the heart of the city so that I can walk around easily; getting to know as much as I am able to, enjoying theatres, museums and all the open spaces the city has to offer.

I’m teaching at college, which I am really enjoying. Being around young people and helping them build a future has turned up to be a very fulfilling experience.

I love reading, listening to music, dancing, going to the movies, but most of it, I love travelling, getting to know different countries and cultures.

I’d like to exchange my home for long periods of time, for a month or longer, enough time to get to know deep inside the places and its people. I’ll be travelling alone and maybe from time to time with a friend.
